TIWI island screen prints

We're not sure whether this is fabric or art. These unique and individual designs are hand-screenprinted by indigenous artists from Tiwi island (north of Darwin). Each piece is a one-off artist's piece. Widths vary from 112 - 140cm.

Now, decision time: to hang it on the wall or cut a lovely full skirt?

We're back!

Sorry about the break between posts, but we've had a lovely holiday. We've sewn some wonderful shorts for the kids, a couple of crisp cotton frocks, and a couple of cushion covers as well. Nothing too taxing (we were on holiday, after all...)!
