One of our lovely ladies that work here, Cheryl has just turned up in a lovely summer skirt.
She used a floral "craft" cotton in Burda pattern 8280 and to finish it off she put a couple of rows of satin ribbon around the hem to compliment the colour of the flowers.I've put craft in inverted commas as we find these weight cottons are great for skirts and dresses and they don't need to be lined. Great when you are wearing them in our summer heat.
She is a very clever lady,and we hear there are a few more projects on the machine, so stay tuned.
